Education
1983-1990:
Studied in the Medical School of the Democritus University of Thace. During the first three years of her studies she also attended the Medical Department of the Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki, where she completed courses in Preparatory Surgery and Preparatory Pathology in the AHEPA Hospital (American Hellenic Educational and Progressive Association). She graduated from the Democritus University of Thace with the grade of “Very Good”
1991-1992:
She did her suburban medical practice in a small town called Satres and in the Medical Center of Echinos situated in the prefecture of Xanthi. During that period, she also served as a public medical inspector.
1992-1994:
Commenced her specialization in medical biopathology in the State Hospital of Komotini called “Sismanoglio”
1994-1997:
Completed her specialization and received her diploma in microbiology – biopathology from the University Hospital of Alexandroupoli.
Her private Microbiological Diagnostic Laboratory begins operating in Komotini.
The 130 square meter laboratory is situated on the second floor of a building on the central town square of Komotini. It operates as a fully equipped laboratory with a large variety of departments such as: biochemical, microbiological, immunological, hormonal, allergological, prenatal, infertility, cancer/tumour markers, culture, etc.
The laboratory equipment can perform analyses and present results using the latest and most advanced methods. It is of high sensitivity, repeatability and accuracy.
Its staff consists of 6 people, two of which are graduates of Technological Educational Institutes (TEI).
It collaborates with reliable scientists, highly respected doctors and well-known suppliers.

The education of Voula Marinidou is continuous as she is constantly participating in specialized training, scientific conferences, seminars and workshops outside of Greece.
She is at the heart of progress in her field. Because of her participation and interaction in medical congresses, she is always up to date with the latest new researches.
- She has attended the Panhellenic Conference on Microbiology every year for the past 24 years
- She is a regular participant of educational seminars.
- 2010: She attended a conference dealing with viral and microbiological infections and other epidemiologic data, which took place in the War Museum of Athens
- 2011: She participated in the medical congress that was held in the Athens State Hospital “Laiko”.
